Buckle Up

Buckle your seat belts and get ready for a ride. Once mike hits the stage he goes from 0-60 in a blink of an eye. His comedy is raunchy, jaw dropping, and out there. He’s guaranteed to make you laugh otherwise he’ll kill you after the show!

A Gifted Teacher

Mike has been a dedicated, advanced student of mine for the past 14 years. He originally came to me after having previously studied with some of the top instructors in the world in JKD, Wing Chun, full contact Karate, and Aikijujutsu. He had fought in hundreds of fights with no weight classes and barely any rules. I’ve personally watched him “empty his cup” and transform from a talented sport fighter to an initiate of combat Jujutstu. Along the way he’s become a gifted teacher with a unique perspective on marital arts, having grown up in a rough upbringing with extensive real world experience. As a result he has a deep understanding of tactics and strategies for surviving attacks in the street involving awkward environments, weapons, and multiple assailants. He’s definitely seen it all. He is both a fighter and a teacher. Regardless of whether one comes from MMA, law enforcement, the military or even has physical or mental disabilities, he has a lot of wisdom to share. His students are lucky to train with him.

Better than Therapy

Mike’s simultaneously a bully and the best therapist you’ve never had. I’ve never had more emotional growth than after experiencing Mike shout my deepest and darkest insecurities to a mostly-disinterested bar crowd and seeing them shrug it off, as if my penchant for getting fisted behind The Abbey is totally normal, encouraged even. I’ve since fired my therapist and will only share my darkest thoughts with Mike as long as he promises to publicly humiliate and blackmail me with them at a later date. He is truly the Serial Killer of Comedy, and you don’t want to get on his bad side. Or maybe you do. We don’t kink shame here.

Amazing Defensive Training

Mike’s system is amazing; best and most dangerous I have ever seen or heard of in my life! (and I have been trained by military and police and started martial arts and self defense years ago cause of being bullied and beat up by family members as a child etc.) It utilizes advanced Ju Jutsu of what the Ninja and Samurai used. He previously fought in MMA style fights so he is well rounded and knowledgeable on defense against trained fighters as well as street fighters. He also has seven black belts in various styles. He is a knife fighter also so understands the principles and what will work and what won’t. Jui Jutsu has helped me protect myself over and over through the years and it works!!!

Challenging but fun

Mike is a very knowledgeable and entertaining instructor. I’ve been doing ju jutsu with him for two months now and he makes the lessons challenging but fun. Each session I feel like I’m getting stronger and more skilled in defending myself.

Rivaled By None

Edgy and sometimes perverse, but always incredibly funny, Mike makes me laugh until the tears are rolling down my face. His energy and ability to hilariously engage with the audience, are rivaled by none.

A Wonderful Sifu

Mike is a great instructor and a wonderful Sifu. I have been taking martial arts for almost all of my life, and I have never felt so self confident and capable as I am right now. Mikes mix of Jeet Kune Do and Ketsugo JujUtsu is a wonderful blend of striking and breaks. Mike will teach you how to defend yourself from weapons, or how to end the fight quickly and be a force to reckon with.

Maniac on the Mic

I’ve been on two shows that Mike Muratore headlined and he crushed it! He is a maniac on the mic.

I Got Lucky

Mike Muratore’s mind is like a ride at the county fair. Fast-moving, fun-filled, and put together by some very dark-souled people. I took my wife to see his show. He said some beautiful things to us and some twisted stuff, too. She loved it, and I got lucky after we got home. Bring your own date and you’ll see!

-Patrick Rabin

Blazing Energy

A funny guy with blazing energy that will leave you bowled over with laughter.

-Howard Berger
